Chris Danos joined BNSF Railway in 2018. In his current role as AVP of Economic Development and Real Estate, Chris is responsible for creating growth opportunities for BNSF customers and developing shovel-ready sites throughout the BNSF network. Chris also leads the BNSF real estate acquisition and disposition teams. Before BNSF, Chris spent 20 years leading strategic real estate development within various divisions of Walmart, Inc., developing over 30 million square feet of commercial space. Chris has a bachelor’s degree in finance from Florida Southern College. He and his wife Kim have two daughters, Briane and Lexi.
