Eric Adams is an engineer and entrepreneur and the founder of three companies in Tarrant County. Headquartered at Perot Field Alliance Airport in Fort Worth, AAMTEX (Advanced Air Mobility of Texas) provides cyberinfrastructure for simulated and live flight demonstrations in North Texas in the AAM concept of operations. Eric has a two-decade background in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and is the lead engineer of the CASA Doppler weather radar network in the DFW metroplex. Since 2011, Eric has worked closely with the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) and with the City of Fort Worth, operating and integrating mission-critical systems for public safety applications. His company, TxSense, remains dedicated to this and other remote sensing projects, providing data to over 55 cities and towns in North Texas. Eric’s extensive background working across the technical and managerial spectrum with local stakeholders and contractors, large federal entities, and educational institutes gives him a unique perspective as he works to bring the new low-altitude aviation industry to bear in North Texas.
